My Approach
My work is integrative, relational and depth-oriented. I draw primarily on Psychosynthesis and psychodynamic thinking, and work with an attention to both conscious and unconscious processes.
At the centre of the work is the therapeutic relationship, through which patterns can be understood more directly as they emerge in the room. This allows for a deeper exploration of how you relate to yourself and to others, and opens the possibility for meaningful change over time.
While much of the work is based in talking therapy, I also draw, where appropriate, on more experiential and embodied approaches. This may include working with imagery, attention to the body, or other creative forms of expression, where these support the therapeutic process.
Any such elements are introduced thoughtfully and only where they feel relevant to the work, with the emphasis remaining on developing a way of working that feels attuned to you.
Occasionally, I may suggest simple ways of continuing the work between sessions, where this feels helpful.
